The program is no cost to participants. We want to be mindful of our budget while still providing a high-quality experience. Thus, we can only accept a small number of Kansas women. With your help, more young women across the state could build connections, contribute to their communities, foster creativity, grow, learn, and thrive. Every scholarship dollar helps! Annual Alumni Conference
It is really feasible to take a trip around Kansas to have face-to-face contact with our local participants for the follow-on portion of the program. However, it is a little more challenging to have that in-person mentoring with our international women after their departure. Every three years, it is our goal to host an international alumni conference. KWLI alumni from all institutes and home locations join together to continue work for their Leadership for Change Project, to develop action plans to make a difference on women’s issues in their home communities, and to expand their capacity for exercising leadership. Your sponsorship of one participant in the amount of $4,000 guarantees a life changing global opportunity and enriches communities in Kansas.
