Through their participation in this program, KWLI participants will:

• Connect with women in the Lawrence community and across the state through our WE CONNECT mentoring program
• Contribute through experiential learning and volunteer opportunities
• Foster creativity through innovative programming centered on critical thinking and active reflection
• Grow their leadership skills and develop key leadership competencies
• Learn about and study the Adaptive Leadership model to address an issue they would like to make progress on in their home community (Leadership for Change Project)
• Thrive through the development of a community of practice that empowers women
